Hello WayLanders, this is Way! Today I’m gonna talk about Idol Girl group Diet secrets! We received a lot of questions about diet There’s a lot of diet secrets in the world and various physical constitutions. And they have different problems like too thin, or skinny fat or if they’re obese or whatsoever. I manage my self too. If I don’t, my belly starts to come out or my face gets bigger, like that. But in terms body weight, I never went over 50kg in my life Short break^^ It may sound like a brag but considering my small height I thought about the reason and it turned out to be that I have good habits So first, I want to tell you guys to have good habits
(Obvious but important) The secret is? I usually eat 2-3 meals a day and after that, I don’t eat any other snacks. The only thing I do is drink 1 cup of milk or chocolate milk. It’s not that I don’t like snacks. But it becomes a bad routine if you eat bread or rice cakes as a dessert, you crave for spicy and salty food again. If you eat them, then you crave for sweet food again. There’s no end to that. But for me, I just finish at the first meal without snacks. Those who want to quit snacks, I suggest drinking something instead. For example, many of you like fruits right? But the calories are HUGE. So cut little and make it into juice instead. I suggest substituting the snacks like that. It really works well. Second thing is, did you guys know? They said that compared to hot rice, cold rice has lower calories.
(There’s not much difference though) I don’t really like hot foods. Like hot soups, I don’t like them too. Even if I eat one, I only eat the ingredients. Many of them who are on a diet only drink soup. But in fact there are so much sodium in the soup. If you do that, it’s a calorie bomb. So I suggest eat more of the ingredients than the soup. It’s enough to make you full so eventually you won’t seek for the soup. And this is really important. You should get enough sleep. When I don’t get enough sleep, I keep craving for sweets. Starting from the stress I don’t have enough stamina to do something so I keep craving for something. Especially when I was a trainee and the company didn’t let me have enough sleep, I craved for chocolates and snacks which I don’t even like usually And gosh. I reached my peak weight at that time. Now I get enough sleep and don’t get stressed much so I’m maintaining myself right now without management
(Thanks to the good habit) And I even ate midnight snack last night. It seems like my constitution changed to not gain weight easily. So I suggest you guys try to have good habits first It may sound so obvious really important I try different ways during diet but I can’t eat like that for the rest of my life I’m more of maintaining type but if I finish practice dancing, singing, or after shooting a long program I eat a lot of midnight snacks. And the reason I’m still maintaining myself is I eat a lot of products that help me to avoid swelling Like I ate a lot of midnight snack last night but I’m not swollen right now.. Right??

(Short term diet) Starting 1 week before the big day, you only drink 2L of water everyday Only on big days like shooting a Drama, Photo shoot, MV, or whatsoever and you quit right before that day. Then the body think you’ll be drinking 2L again so it discharges the water as usual But you stopped drinking water so your body start to grab water from other parts in your body which makes your swelling all go away First is Denmark Diet
(Most recently tried) How Denmark Diet is done in 2 weeks is You only eat Denmark menus. I ordered it on a website Website called ‘DIETGO’ They deliver it to your house every morning . There’s morning, lunch and dinner made with fresh ingredients. It was an handy way as a diet but the problem was I told you that I’m more of Korean food eater right? I was eating rice and stuff but I had to quit everything so it was really hard If you like protein foods like meat, egg, chicken breast than carbohydrate food like rice, I recommend this diet.
(Way lost 2-3kg with this) But if you’re someone who have to absolutely eat something you crave for, you better go with 1 meal a day. You can eat anything you want and crave for but you can only eat 1 meal a day. And you have to eat it in a short period, at the same time everyday. I’ve tried it too and I also lost weight similarly. About 2-3 kg? But my body is small so 2-3 kg is huge for me. I guess average and bigger people will experience about 5-8kg through this diet There’s someone famous for 1 meal a day JinYoung Hong sunbae-nim is famous for that so it would be nice to search and try them for yourself If it suits with you, then you can continue with that And there’s another thing I started to learn dancing when I was 2nd year middle school It’s important to have firm body core for the dancing line to look pretty so I did a lot of warming up. The one I always did was abdominal exercise I did 100 of them everyday I did them everyday until one day I did 500 a day Since we’re always dancing we did a lot of basic physical training which made us to have higher basic strength and stamina than others So if you wanna have body like the girl groups, you just have to exercise 100 counts a day But I have to tell you this first. Diet also have bad sides. Girl groups have to do extreme diets frequently And get forced to do diet by others. I’ve seen dark sides of diets too. Shall we start? It’s vomiting. Ever since I was little I’ve seen people who dreams to be an Idol. And lot of them were thinking too much about diet. When they try, try, and eventually get bulimia. They hate themselves for having bulimia so they make themselves vomit on purpose. It it goes the wrong way, it can lead to anorexia. Because if you keep vomiting after eating your body remembers that and reject all the food And you put your dirty fingers in your throat so They caught esophagitis. You can’t speak or your voice changes There are A LOT of people like that And during trainee time you get your weight checked abruptly They got scared of that and run to vomit I’ve tried it once too. I was so scared by the sudden weight check I tried it once Since I don’t know how to vomit, do you know what happened? I’ve lowered my head too long that the vein here bursted The veins bursted so it became a mess back then I never tried again after that but I hope no one will go that far during diet. If any of you are doing that right now, it has to stop now. And after diet, yo-yo effect always happen too. At free time you gain weight like this And lose weight like this during promotion There are even people who compliment that saying they’re born to be a celebrity I don’t think it’s good to compliment them for managing their bodies only during promotion And there was also once one of our employee who tried sports drink diet I guess he saw it somewhere in the internet saying you can diet by only drinking sports drink He drank nothing but the sports drink I heard he lost 4 kg in just 5 days But the problem during 4 day was that your eyes turned red and not to mention how did the face look. It was so hard that he quitted right before the big day and started eating again. That’s one of the bad case though.
